Poppy is such a bubbly and fun person and she really helped make our wedding the best day of our lives! When our previous celebrant fell through 8 weeks before our wedding, we were so lucky that Poppy was available and so willing to help us out. We were unlucky enough to have to postpone our wedding date due to Covid, and we were so lucky to have been able to find a new date that allowed us to keep Poppy. From the moment that we first met with Poppy, we instantly clicked. Poppy was full of energy, bubbly and so approachable. We both knew straight away that Poppy was who we wanted to marry us and boy are we glad we made that decision. If you’re wanting someone chilled out but who equally is so bubbly, genuinely friendly and calming then Poppy is who you want officiating your wedding. We wanted someone relaxed and that we felt like we gelled with, and from our first meeting we knew we wanted Poppy to be the one to marry us. She knew I was a bit of an anxious person and being up in front of people wasn’t my thing so gave us plenty of guidance on how our vows could be done in a way I’d be comfortable. She walked us through the rehearsal until that felt as natural as it was ever going to feel. I could go on and on (as many guests did) about how right Poppy was for us and our special day and while it’s simple, thank you. Now if only we could do the day a million times over!!

We were so lucky to have Poppy as our celebrant for our wedding in January 2021. She was both organised and relaxed, and ensured everything about the ceremony ran smoothly. Our wedding was when Auckland was thrown back into lockdown, which meant a week out from our big day and we suddenly had no celebrant. However Poppy with her beautiful soul stepped in to help us, and honestly we wish we had gone with her from the beginning! Her approach and style were just perfect and she tailored the ceremony to make it just us - which is incredible as we had only known her a week! Her guidance at the rehearsal proved how proficient she is at weddings and she really had thought of everything. On the day, she was such a calming influence and knew how to run plan B when things went slightly off script. We didn’t know much at all about how the whole ceremony thing worked; we just knew we wanted ours to be relatively brief and relaxed, but still meaningful and personal.
